DEPARTMENTAL MUSEUM OF RESISTANCE AND DEPORTATION
About
Reopened in 2020 after 18 months of renovation and extension work, the Musée départemental de la Résistance & de la Déportation offers a 1,000 m² permanent and temporary exhibition on two levels. In addition to the permanent exhibition, it offers a programme of two temporary exhibitions a year on original subjects.
The MDR&D is also a place for collecting, preserving and promoting our heritage, as well as a place to meet and reflect, with a rich and eclectic programme of scientific, cultural and artistic events, in the evenings and at weekends, in its conference room and garden.
In this way, it fulfils a threefold historical, remembrance and civic mission.
Throughout April, accessible digital content (audio descriptions with extracts from testimonies, reading of archives/testimonies and an audio description of posters) will be available on the museum's website.
Free admission, self-guided tours. Guided tours at weekends.
