About

The gardens of the Borderouge Museum are once again waking up to music with Rio Loco's INSULAE. Come and celebrate the arrival of spring with a musical treat!

This year, the Gardens of the Borderouge Museum are being transformed into a poetic archipelago, with two flamboyant visual artists: French textile designer Maëva Longvert and Brazilian ideas dressmaker Livia Diniz. Both have created colourful, lively installations based on the carnival spirit.

From the Parc de la Maourine to the Jardins, you're invited to follow the festive wanderings of Mabouya-la, whose commitment to West Indian heritage will have you spellbound to the sound of gwoka.
Then it's the turn of traditional instruments from the Comoros archipelago to take you on a musical family show inspired by slam, rap and world music.
Ousanousava continue to set the mood with their Reunion rhythms of maloya and sega.
Seu Jade brings the evening to a close with a Caribbean and Reunion dj set.

This event is also an opportunity to stroll through the Potagers du Monde and discover new musical nuggets.
