About
A painter, curator and founder of the Centre d’Art Nomade, Françoise Lacoste has devoted her life to supporting contemporary art, showcasing artists and fostering encounters between artworks and the public.
For the first time, the exhibition brings together her artistic work – which had long remained little known – and the archives that trace her career and her many causes. Paintings, graphic works, collages, photographs, documents and personal accounts come together to form a sensitive portrait of a woman for whom art was, above all, a space for dialogue, sharing and freedom.
A retrospective inviting you to discover or rediscover a unique life’s journey, deeply intertwined with the cultural scene of Toulouse.
