About

The scene takes place on 22 March 1794. The bourgeois revolution of 1789 is a distant memory.

There is no longer a king, no longer a church; war rages everywhere, both at the borders and at the heart of the country. A spiral of violence and terror has begun. Danton and Robespierre, the two giants of the Revolution, meet for a final showdown. Their clash will determine not only the future of France but also their own personal futures. In the shadow of the guillotine, a fratricidal struggle unfolds over the values of liberty and equality, fuelled by a mad hope for fraternity.
