Now in its second year, Biblis en folis is back to celebrate your local libraries.

In the Toulouse metropolitan area, (re)discover five libraries:

The José Cabanis Media Library invites you to a unique tour on Saturday 3rd from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm. Combining street theatre, dance and singing, put on your trainers – the tour is likely to be a lively and energetic affair!
Then discover the film-show ‘Babel Rhapsodie’, suitable for children aged 6 and over, on Saturday 3rd at 5.00 pm.
Prick up your ears and set off on a journey with Émeline Rétif and her sound exhibition on Saturday 3rd from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm and on Sunday 4th from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
A reading performance invites you to discover the secrets of a library when no one is around amongst the books, on Sunday 4th from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

At the Study and Heritage Library, discover the series of ‘book-objects’ from Éditions du Soleil Noir on Saturday 3rd from 12 noon to 1 pm.

For little ones aged 0 to 3, introduce them to the joys of reading at the Museum’s Media Centre on Saturday 3rd from 10.30 am to 11 am. Booking required via the Museum’s website.
On Saturday afternoon, play as a family or let the library staff surprise you with their recommendations for the best picture books.

The Georges Wolinski Media Library in Fenouillet invites children to a literary café to share their favourite picks for the new term, on Saturday 3rd from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Meanwhile, the morning literary café is aimed at older children from 10.30 am to 12 noon.

Take part in a plant-printing workshop on paper at the Altigone Cultural Centre in Saint-Orens de Gameville, from 2.30 pm to 4 pm on Saturday 3rd. Suitable for children aged 5 and over; booking required at the cultural centre.

The Pavillon Blanc Henri Molina in Colomiers welcomes you all weekend with a packed programme of events linked to the ‘Profondeur de Champs’ photography exhibition.
The Black Stories Impro theatre company will improvise a show from scratch based on the photographs in the current exhibition on Friday 2nd from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
Have your portrait taken instantly in black and white using traditional film and an old-fashioned view camera on Friday 2nd from 3.30 pm to 7 pm.
Head to Colomiers to learn the basics of photography on Saturday 2nd from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm, followed by a print-making workshop.
From 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm on Saturday 3rd, enjoy a reading, a concert and a film screening using vintage cameras.
Make your own stereoscope – suitable for children aged 6 and over. With your glasses, you’ll be able to see your own drawing in 3D. This workshop takes place on Friday 2nd from 4.30 pm to 6 pm and on Saturday 3rd from 3 pm to 6 pm.
