About

Come and watch a giant jog in the middle of a stadium that becomes a poetic ballet formed by a myriad of volunteer runners from all generations and all walks of life!

Originally created for 150 runners to mark the passage of the Olympic flame through Marseille in 2024, Ballet Jogging is inspired by murmurations, the spectacular choreography performed by swarms of birds or schools of fish.

For this Toulouse edition, the Théâtre Garonne has invited Toulouse choreographer Pierre Rigal to recreate the show in Toulouse with 150 volunteer runners. Sitting in the stands of the stadium, come and watch a group run together, carried by the vital energy of dance combined with that of effort. An improbable ballet set to music by Julien Lepreux!

Good to know:
We're currently calling for volunteer runners! Do you like running? Can you run for 45 minutes without stopping? Will you be in Toulouse on 28 June? Come along to the 8 training sessions between April and June and take part in a large-scale collective show that combines running and artistic performance (information and registration on the Théâtre Garonne website).
