THE GARDENS OF THE MUSEUM - LA MAOURINE PARK
About
The Museum's gardens are set in an enchanting and preserved natural setting. In the Vegetable Gardens of the World, 700 varieties of food plants from the vegetable gardens of Asia, Africa, America and Europe are cultivated.
The scents of the herb garden awaken our senses, while the Bacchus and sweets gardens introduce us to more gourmet uses of plants.
Thanks to the Forgotten Path, we can access a rare natural space in the heart of the city.
It extends over 3 hectares around a reed bed (a pond covered with reeds) and biodiversity has been preserved there for 50 years.
The site, labeled 4 Handicaps, is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility with the exception of the Forgotten Path.
