About

In the heart of Toulouse, in the Saint-Aubin neighbourhood, Kiyoshi offers a unique culinary experience, blending Japanese tradition with French gastronomy. At the helm, chef Olivier Gulizzi creates a personal and creative Japanese-inspired cuisine that showcases seasonal produce and unexpected flavour combinations. More than just a restaurant, Kiyoshi is an invitation to take your time, let yourself be surprised and discover another side to Toulouse’s culinary scene. An unconventional spot for the curious and food lovers seeking an experience that is as welcoming as it is unexpected.

At lunchtime, the focus is on the spirit of traditional Japanese cuisine with a set menu inspired by teishoku – an assortment of dishes served on a tray, combining Japanese specialities and fresh produce. In the evening, the restaurant reveals a whole new side with omakase, a multi-course gastronomic experience where the chef crafts the menu according to the seasons, his own inspiration and his guests’ preferences.

Seated at the counter, facing the open kitchen, a select few can watch the dishes being prepared and chat directly with the chef. In this intimate atmosphere, every plate tells a story, blending Japanese influences, French expertise and Mediterranean touches.
