THE WOAD MUSEUM

Musée Entrée museum du pastel LABEGE

About

Located on the outskirts of Toulouse, the Pastel Museum is dedicated to the mysteries of blue and its natural plant source, the Isatis Tinctoria L. plant.

Carried by Jean-Jacques Germain, in association with Sandrine Banessy, Terre de Pastel is Pastel's major resource center. 1500 m² dedicated to pastel (woad): a place of exception and innovation. Terre de Pastel reveals all the secrets of pastel, the legendary plant at the origin of the fortune of the land of Cocagne. At your disposal: the museum for a new experience and demonstrations of dyeing or workshops; the spa in natural light and its innovative cosmetics Bleu de Toulouse and Bleu par Nature.
