Just a stone’s throw from the Capitole, on Rue Peyrolières, Le Détaillant puts a new spin on the lunch break with generous sandwiches, prepared to order using carefully selected ingredients. Le Détaillant is also a delicatessen, offering a selection of cold meats and cheeses, craft beers, regional wines, fruit juices and other gourmet specialities to enjoy in-house or take away.

At the helm, Sébastien Salvet, a chef from Toulouse and former protégé of Michel Sarran, brings his expertise to bear on simple, indulgent and authentic cuisine. On the menu are flavour combinations inspired by the French and Spanish countryside: high-quality charcuterie, Manchego, chorizo, dried duck breast, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh seasonal produce. The bread, baked by an artisan baker, is delivered daily to ensure it is fresh and crispy.
With its small terrace and friendly atmosphere, the restaurant is ideal for both a quick lunch break and a gourmet treat whilst exploring Toulouse’s historic centre.

The added bonus: here, sandwiches are prepared right in front of you, using ingredients that showcase the expertise and flavours of south-western France and Spain.
