GRAIN DE QUARTIER

About

In the heart of the Saint-Cyprien neighbourhood, Grain de Quartier is a warm and welcoming café-canteen, designed to be a real neighbourhood spot where people come to eat, have a coffee, take a break and enjoy a simple moment together. But Grain de Quartier is about more than just what’s on your plate. Above all, the venue aims to be a space for living and socialising, where local residents, families, visitors and those simply passing by can come together. Occasional events centred on food, culture and community also add to the vibrancy of this spot.

Beza, the restaurant’s founder, showcases home-cooked, seasonal and sustainable cuisine, with a particular focus on local produce and expertise. The menu blends French and Ethiopian influences, reflecting the restaurant’s ethos of a ‘cultural dining experience’ open to all.
Highlights include Ethiopian coffee, prepared in the traditional way, as well as dishes inspired by Ethiopian home cooking. Injera, lentils, vegetables and spices such as berbere add a touch of variety to this generous and exotic cuisine. An invitation to travel without leaving Toulouse!
