Come one, come all to cheer on the cyclists in a festive atmosphere and enjoy the many events planned for the occasion. Whether you want to admire the Caravan, take part in the family activities or simply feel the excitement of the race, Toulouse promises you unforgettable moments. Don’t miss this not-to-be-missed summer event!

15 July
Rest day in Toulouse. Events are planned throughout the city, so stay tuned for the full programme!
16 July
Toulouse > Toulouse: stage 11 of the Tour. Length: 154 km.
Starts at the Stadium and finishes at Compans-Caffarelli.
The Race
The neutral start of the stage will take place on the forecourt of the Stadium (1 Allée Gabriel Biénès, 31000 Toulouse) at 1:15 p.m.
The riders will parade through the streets of Toulouse before the official start at 1:45 p.m. in Seilh, where they will begin racing against the clock on a 154 km stage. Come out in numbers along the route to cheer them on! The famous Pech David climb, with a gradient of nearly 21%, awaits them just 10 km before the finish line.
The first riders are expected to arrive around 5:00 p.m. at 43 boulevard Lascrosses.
The Caravan
The caravan, eagerly awaited by fans of the Grande Boucle, will set off at 11:15 a.m., following the same route as the riders. It’s the perfect chance to catch iconic bucket hat or other “eco-friendly” goodies handed out by one of the 160 vehicles in the caravan.
Entertainment & Activities
Plenty of entertainment is being organized during the Tour de France stop, with something for all ages to enjoy while waiting for the riders!
From July 12 to 16, Les Halles de la Cartoucherie will host five festive days featuring international food stalls, a local producers’ market on July 14 and 15, guided tours on July 13 and 15, and two festive evenings with a lively “Southwest France” atmosphere on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13!
Tuesday, July 15
The Victor Hugo market vendors and the PGO agency invite you to a special day called “Ô Tour du Marché”, featuring local high-quality products, live brass bands (bandas), and fun activities such as a photobooth and pétanque. Festivities will take place all day long, until 9:00 p.m.
Head to the Cité de l’espace for a full day and evening celebrating the Tour de France.
There will be cycling-themed activities, such as a cycling video game, a smoothie bike where you blend your drink as you pedal, and more. These fun experiences will keep the evening lively and full of energy.
At nightfall, around 10:00 p.m., the Ariane rocket will light up in yellow before a dazzling illuminated parade featuring aerial performers.
Place du Capitole
- From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. BMX bike art demonstrations and hands-on workshops will take place.
- Cycling mini-golf courses themed around the Tour de France will be available. The person pedaling generates air that powers the club and moves the ball forward at varying speeds depending on the pedaling effort.
A fun and family-friendly activity. - From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. activities will be held on a synthetic field celebrating Toulouse’s three iconic sports clubs (TFC, Stade Toulousain, TO XIII). The program includes inflatable games, initiation sessions, and more. Each club will have its own tent.
Place Saint-Pierre
- From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. La Maison du Vélo will present an exhibition of unusual bicycles and offer discovery workshops. Activities include smoothie bikes, learning how to securely lock your bike, and a slow race starting from Pont Saint-Pierre where the last to arrive is the winner!
- At 6:30 p.m. enjoy a concert by Les Chasse Patates. Imagine cyclists and performers in cycling gear such as jerseys, shorts and helmets, playing powerful rock music while live sports commentators create the energy of a wild race.
For the occasion, the Handicap Support Hub will provide vibrating vests. These will be available for people with disabilities and can also be tested by hearing participants who want to experience a concert from the perspective of a hearing-impaired person.
Place de la Daurade
- From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the Stade Toulousain Cyclisme Academy will present the association’s initiatives, including a special meeting with Elie de Carvalho, silver medalist at the 2024 Paralympic Games.
- From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the Cité de l’espace will offer fun and educational science activities for all ages, exploring topics such as the Moon, outer space, sound, and light.
Wednesday, July 16
Astérion the Minotaur and Ariane the Spider will be exceptionally joined by Long Ma, the dragon-horse, on the Piste des Géants – Halle de la Machine to greet the passing Tour de France cyclists.
Activities will also take place on the forecourt of the Stadium starting at 10 a.m., including the presentation of the entire peloton, the different jerseys, and rider interviews. At the finish line from 2 p.m., additional highlights will be offered, and of course, the famous Tour caravan will pass through.

How do I get there? How do I get around?
We strongly advise you to use the park-and-ride facilities at metro stations and to take public transport on 16 July.
- Metro and Téléo services will be more frequent on 16 July
- Some bus routes will be temporarily diverted during the passage of the runners
- A special ‘Tour de France’ 1-trip collector ticket, available from the beginning of July, will enable you to use all public transport services in the metropolitan area
- The airport shuttle bus route will be changed on 16 July, with stops at the airport and at the ‘Barrière de Paris’ and ‘Matabiau – gare SNCF’ metro stations
- Some car parks in the city centre will be closed and parking will be prohibited on certain roads
