About
Mendelssohn's Psalm 42 and the Coronation Mass will be performed in the magnificent setting of the Basilica of La Daurade by the Ensemble Vocal Voce Tolosa conducted by Olivier Perny. Marc Chiron will be playing the church's two majestic organs.
Mendelssohn composed this masterpiece of religious music as a wedding present. Here he gives it to you as a magnificent start to a wonderful summer!
The Mass KV317, one of Mozart's most popular works, will be performed by the choir and the four soloists:
- The soprano, Céline Laborie
- Alto, Cristelle Gouffé
- Tenor, Patrick Garayt
- The bass, Julien Véronese
They will be accompanied on the organ by Marc Chiron and on the oboe by Gilles Rimauro.
