How do we slip from the pursuit of happiness into the oppression of perfection? From the absurd attempt to struggle to be something other than oneself to the inevitability of shifting and contradictory norms, *Tenter de ne pas faner* presents six portraits in which each of the women confronts the cruelty of never being good enough.
