In this fragmented tale set between Marseille, the Underworld and Corsica, we meet Zoé, an insomniac with alcohol in her blood, as she grapples with lost loves, sudden death, skeletons and funeral parlours.
It is by bringing the mundane into the grand ceremony of death that Zoé finds herself battling these intangible demons. This film breathes new life into the aesthetics of both the zombie B-movie and the girly romantic comedy.
