About
Sylve is a little girl who lives in the woods. Her best friend is the tall, gnarled beech tree. In the shade of the gnarled tree lives a whole host of plants and animals: the squirrel hiding beneath the leaves, the playful fox cubs and the enchanting birds.
This world-tree is her home; the animals are her family. One day, the child hears voices and laughter over there, on the other side, beyond the forest. This other world calls out to her, drawing her in whilst at the same time making her feel uneasy.
That other world is you, who have come to listen to her story. Sylve will share her knowledge of the natural world with you. Thanks to you, she will meet other children for the very first time.
