SHAHZEN (HALLE NIGHT LONG)

Shahzen is a DJ with a keen ear for rhythms that get the body moving. Her sets feature plenty of percussion and repetition, paving the way for a collective trance on the dancefloor.

Drawing on her Maghrebi and Occitan heritage, she blends traditional influences with electronic club aesthetics, navigating between bass music, percussive techno, hard groove and baile funk.

As an activist, her approach is rooted in a reflection on hybrid identities and the
breaking down of genre barriers. Each set becomes an open, inclusive and
political space for celebration, where everyone can dance and express themselves freely.
