About

Make yourself comfortable and let yourself be carried away by a concert at the Resource Centre dedicated to Occitan culture and traditional music!

In 2021, Aelis Loddo and Laurie Alias met with a shared desire to sing. Their family histories and personal aesthetics quickly led them to focus on the Languedoc repertoire. For the last four years, they've been pulling on the threads woven by their elders, travelling to dances, wakes, festivals and singing courses.

The group has remained true to its acoustic roots, choosing to highlight the voices with a variety of percussion instruments (podorythmie, alfaia, bendir, bells, triangle, bottle, etc.) and melodic accompaniment (viola, violin, Jew's harp).

Finally, this material is supported by an aesthetic sound that is faithful and modern, dynamic and percussive, precise and dreamlike. The Salvatjonas will tell the story of the wanderings of a fictional character who meets spinners, shepherds, reapers, workers, chambermaids and temporary workers.
