About
The musician had enjoyed success in her day, even earning the nickname ‘the female Beethoven’. Here she is, in fact, associated with this ‘alter ego’. The Piano Concerto No. 2, still very much in the classical style, serves as a reminder that Beethoven, too, sought to shine at the piano. This virtuosic composition is masterfully performed by Nobuyuki Tsujii, a highly regarded pianist in Japan, where he accompanied the Orchestre du Capitole on tour in June 2026. As for Symphony No. 5, it opens with the four most famous notes in the history of music, from which spring four movements, all marked by the genius of their composer.
