Thanks to performers such as the Pygmalion Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Raphaël Pichon, we are rediscovering the greatest of all symphonies, Beethoven’s Ninth.

It expresses universal brotherhood, celebrates humanity’s reconciliation with the Creator, and conveys a sense of collective elation before the final climax. As a prelude to the Symphony, we shall hear some of the composer’s rarely performed works.
