The theme of this programme is edicaces, either between closely related composers (Schumann and Brahms for C. Schumann, Schuncke for Schumann), or based on a theme treated in variations (C. Schumann on a theme by Robert), or by setting a poem to music (Liszt after Petrarch). Toulouse pianist H. Tsai is an internationally recognised specialist in historically informed practice on the fortepiano.
