The Museum takes you on a fascinating journey into the heart of the mineral world.
Through an immersive exhibition design and exceptional collections, this exhibition traces the history of minerals from prehistory to the present day. Quartz, emerald, malachite and fluorite reveal their secrets, their uses and their role in humanity’s major advances, whilst inviting visitors to reflect on the environmental challenges linked to the extraction of mineral resources. From scientific and industrial applications to the worlds of literature, cinema and video games, minerals enrich both our daily lives and our imagination.
