Although nothing remains today of the original 5th- or 12th-century structures, the aura surrounding the church of La Daurade is still captivating. You are now entering a building rebuilt between 1764 and 1884, but be warned: what you discover at this late hour of your visit might well transport you into a magical sensory world…
