LE JARDIN MUSICAL DE TOULOUSE

Come and relax with your family or friends in a green setting just a stone's throw from the town centre. Music is the order of the day!

Saturday 27 June:
Carried along by the winds, Toulouse guitarist and composer Jérémy Rollando unveils his new album ZEF, an instrumental odyssey that traces its furrows between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. After more than fifty concerts around his album La Montgolfière, this promising young musician is back with wandering, free and luminous music, to be listened to with his feet in the water or on the grass of the Jardin Musical, under the Toulouse sky!

Jérémy was born into the musical melting pot of Toulouse, and his music has grown up like basil among the tomatoes, alongside artists such as Bernardo Sandoval, Serge Lopez, Kiko Ruiz and Renaud Garcia-Fons. His guitar playing is both lyrical and incandescent, combining jazz with flamenco, classical music and world music.

Sunday 28 June:
Les Fils de ta mère is a Toulouse collective of "more or less" singers since 2012, cabaret builders around thematic repertoires, repertoires of singer-singers. Today, Manu Galure, Simon Chouf and Gaël Carigand join forces as a trio to sing these well-known, forgotten and unusual songs.

On one occasion, they revisit the work of Anne Sylvestre, Higelin or Barbara; on another, they choose a theme and go fishing for the tunes that revolve around it. We've heard songs on subjects as varied as "The road", "Drugs", "First names" and "War".

For the occasion, the show will focus on songs about "The garden, trees, nature"... Partly improvised, the show will resemble an evening with friends, with three of the guests monopolising the floor.

In this way, Les Fils de Ta Mère continue the long tradition of covering songs, joking around and juggling the fairground, appropriating the 'repertoire' with enough disrespect and love that it's not even boring. Nothing is too far-fetched, nothing is forbidden, everything is possible, everything is allowed...
