Following *Les Forains* and *Welcome to the World*, the Périscope theatre company returns to the Grand Rond with this production of Romane Nicolas’s play.
A billionaire is playing a game of chess on his yacht when suddenly the police come knocking at the door. How can he hide the billions he’s embezzled? This is the dilemma that will lead him and his bodyguards into an interstellar chase in which he’ll encounter rubbish, a Vercors leek, 6,000 volunteers, aliens, tax inspectors, Melon Musk, a draught and… Arsène, the anti-fascist kitten.

A series of jubilant scenes, a mise en abîme driven by a host of characters, each more eccentric than the last. The author herself sums it up best: ‘I wrote this play for the sake of absurdity, for sadness and for the joy of being alive despite the stupidity of the powerful people around us and the systems that oppress us. This play is a game, so play along! Get caught up in the play and have a laugh. I wrote it for a laugh.”
