About
Do you love post-punk – modern or older?
Welcome to DJ Konstroy’s new, electrifying bimonthly event at Betty Pop’s.
Every two months: the latest from the alternative dark punk, shoegaze and synthpunk scenes, plus some after-punk nostalgia from days gone by, will be on the programme at Betty Pop’s.
A DJ since 1999 and the founder of the Toulouse festival “Setmana Santa”, Konstroy breathes new life into the gothic genre through his post-punk, darkwave and dark electronics mixes and selections.
With carefully chosen tracks by talented artists, the southern DJ combines cold eclecticism with catchy melodies. His energy is firmly dancefloor-oriented without ever descending into pure techno.
Konstroy perfectly epitomises a wave scene that is finally breaking free from its peers, revealing, beneath the tattered veil of an old Victorian ghost, a skeleton made of Adamantium.
