About

The Musée du Vieux-Toulouse is situated in the prestigious setting of a late Renaissance townhouse: the Hôtel Dumay. Just 100 metres from the Place du Capitole, the venue surprises visitors with its tranquillity, which lends itself perfectly to a journey into the city’s past.

This weekend, it’s opening its doors to you!

Explore the museum at your own pace and let yourself be carried away by a concert on Saturday from 3 pm to 5 pm in the museum courtyard, featuring the group ‘Garonnette’, who will take you on a musical journey blending Occitan tradition with sounds from further afield. Hailing from the Occitan Centre for Traditional Music and Dance, the group Garonnette presents an original repertoire blending traditional and modern instruments. Their musical world moves between Occitan tradition, exotic music and pop, offering an experience rich in colour and rhythm.

Find full details of the programme and timetables on the official website of the European Heritage Days.
