About
‘Polen’ is the latest work by the Toulouse-based guitarist and composer Jérémy Rollando, and the third instalment in a series that began with *La Montgolfière* (2023) and continued with *Zef* (2025).
Following on from flight and wind, this new work explores the concept of movement: that which traverses spaces, connects people and flows freely across borders.
The project is set against an artistic backdrop characterised by the convergence of cultures and aesthetics. Having grown up in a cosmopolitan musical environment, Jérémy Rollando has developed a personal style that draws on Mediterranean, Celtic, Balkan, Middle Eastern, Asian, Occitan and jazz music. ‘Polen’ seeks to give shape to this flow of influences.
