A waking dreamer, Jérémy Frerot loves utopias, potential ideas and their fulfilment. Sincere and moving, his music is the fruit of a quest for balance and a creative process free of artifice. Melancholy and self-mockery meet in weightlessness in an abundant counterpoint.
At a time when more and more music is made using software, making the presence of instrumentalists incidental, Jérémy Frerot is part of a new scene of French musicians capable of navigating electro and synth-pop as much as they do through sparse orchestration and organic sounds, giving the delightful sensation of listening to live music.
