Les Arts Renaissants invites you on a musical journey that blurs the boundaries between popular and learned music.
In the 18th century, pastoral scenes of shepherds in love flooded painting and literature, as well as music, which brought popular instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy and the musette back into fashion. Composers such as Rameau, Couperin and Boismortier paid tribute to nature in pieces bursting with colour and emotion.
