DÉAMBULATION CIRCASSIENNE AUX ABATTOIRS : UN FINAL FRANCO-UKRAINIEN

As part of the cultural season Le Voyage en Ukraine, la culture contre-attaque, Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse will be hosting a circus show devised by students from Ésacto' Lido and four young Ukrainian artists from the Kyiv Academy of Arts.

The result of ten days' work in residence and a joint workshop, this trans-disciplinary creation takes you through the rooms of the museum. Juggling, acrobatics and choreographed movements illustrate the personal journeys of the artists, in dialogue with the exhibition Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. L'Imagination au pouvoir, offering a sensitive reading of the works of this visionary fashion designer.

This 40-minute show marks the culmination of an original artistic exchange between Toulouse and Kyiv, born of the twinning between the two cities and supported by Toulouse City Council and the Institut français.
