About
For 3 weeks, the 30-metre-long barge Tourmente will sail at a speed of 5 km/h over a distance of 400 km in the Occitanie region. The barge will be moored in 14 towns and villages, its deck transformed into a floating stage to welcome artists from all over the world, and the banks laid out in a guinguette style with local food and drink.
A festival that sails along the Canal du Midi, playing music from all over the world. Imagine yourself stretched out on a deckchair or in dancefloor mode on the water's edge, the light of the canal sparkling and the powerful vibrations of world music emanating from the barge.
Here are the first names:
Let yourself be carried away by the river parade with La Vespa Cougourdon Ourchestra and its unique instrumentarium made from cougourdons emblematic of the Occitan carnival, the creation with Judeo-Arabic heritage by Sharouh feat.
