For those who are curious and passionate about history, the European Heritage Days offer an opportunity to (re)discover the richness of Toulouse’s heritage.
Pibrac Castle, built in the Renaissance style, was constructed from pink brick by the architect Bachelier in 1540. It comprises an older central block and wings built in 1540.
This weekend, it’s opening its doors to the public!
On the programme:
- Martial arts in the castle grounds, on Sunday from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm
- A talk on the history of the castle and Pibrac
- A Vocalya classical music concert in the guards’ hall, on Saturday and Sunday from 3.45 pm to 5.45 pm
