About
Over five days, the festival celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Toulouse-based association which showcases choro, a Brazilian instrumental music genre that originated in Rio de Janeiro in the 19th century – a style that is at once virtuosic, joyful and deeply popular.
Concerts, talks and masterclasses will enable the Toulouse public and participating musicians to discover or rediscover this living heritage, featuring in particular:
- Guinga and Anna Paes
- Fernando Dalcin Trio
- Marcos Sacramento, Zé Paulo Becker, Silvério Pontes
Throughout the festival:
