Dark blue is like a boat tossed about in the eddies. Dark blue is fear. It is a glimpse into one’s own depths.
Where everything blends together, where the deep blue takes over, turning black and oily. Dark blue is watching the sun’s rays get caught in that oil. It is feeling the gold of the day shining beneath the surface, and letting it envelop us.
