A former shirt factory has become a space where people can meet and share contemporary art: now here is a place that is certainly not common!

In the suburbs of Toulouse, in the very heart of the Bonnefoy quarter, this vast industrial space of 1,000m2 is open to a collision of different forms of contemporary expression and casts a wider eye on current creative trends.

Plastic arts, new media, contemporary dance and innovative and popular music come together at the core of a programme that is busy and varied.

450m2 of exhibitions, artist workshops, a recording studio and an apartment for an artist in residence bolster this very singular approach.

Entry is free and visits can be accompanied by a mediator who will know how to take the visitor as close as possible to the artist’s thought process.
Lieu-Commun is a venue by and for artists, aimed at the general public, with a programme of exhibitions, concerts, residencies, workshops, performances, meetings and conferences.
