LE TAQUIN

The TAQUIN JAZZ CLUB is a concert venue and a place for sharing, heir to Mandala, the jazz club in the Amidonniers district, founded in 1985. Dedicated to disseminating music, supporting musicians and raising artistic awareness, we want it to be open to everyone and to all forms of collaboration.

Around 150 concerts a year, from Wednesday to Saturday, mainly jazz but also open to other related styles: contemporary music, improvised music, soul, electro, funk, world music, etc.
With a capacity of 145 and a lovely terrace in the back room, Le Taquin is a venue on a human scale that encourages close contact between artists and audiences.
As well as presenting music, we also support artistic creation and the local scene, hosting residencies, supporting emerging artists, female artists and artists from gender minorities, jam sessions and masterclasses (....).
We are also stepping up our collaboration with various local players and developing cultural outreach activities: audio reports, work with schools and music colleges, meetings with artists, jazz lessons, etc.
Finally, as an active member of our sector, we are developing partnerships and participating in professional networks to consolidate our actions and those of all the committed players around us.
As well as concerts, a lovely terrace and a bar, Le Taquin offers exhibitions throughout the year.
