CENTRE CULTUREL ESPACE JOB
About
Located in the Sept-Deniers district, the former cigarette paper and "coated paper" factory, which closed in 2001, reopened for a second life in October 2011.
Built in the 1930s by architect Pierre Thuriès, the Job flagship is a listed 20th-century industrial heritage site. It is a true emblem of industrial, working-class and social history. Bought by the town and then renovated, the Centre culturel - Espace Job is a municipal facility that houses the Jean Boiteux swimming pool, an auditorium and four resident associations: Le Collectif Job, MJC des Ponts Jumeaux, 7 Animés and Music'Halle.
The auditorium presents a multi-disciplinary programme open to all audiences.
