About

Caravelle, Mirage III, Noratlas, Breguet "Deux-Ponts", Alouette, Djinn, F-101B Voodoo, Vampire… If those names do not mean anything to you, it is time to pay a visit to Ailes Anciennes!

Ailes Anciennes Toulouse: a journey to the heart of aeronautical history

For over 45 years, the Ailes Anciennes Toulouse association has been dedicated to preserving and restoring an exceptional collection of aircraft, making it one of the leading associations of its kind in France. Mythical aircraft, helicopters, gliders and engines: each piece tells a story, carefully maintained by a team of passionate volunteers.
Discover this unique heritage at their site in Blagnac, just a stone's throw from the Aeroscopia museum.

Around fifty legendary aircraft outside, bearing witness to the golden age of aviation.
A hangar dedicated to reserves, housing engines and light aircraft.
A restoration area open to the public, where volunteers bring these historic machines back to life before your very eyes.

Whether you're an aviation enthusiast, mechanic or simply curious, Ailes Anciennes Toulouse offers a unique experience. With guided or self-guided tours, you can go behind the scenes of the restoration process and discover emblematic aircraft such as the Mirage III, the Super Guppy and the Noratlas.

The association is also the main contributor to the Aeroscopia museum, which opened in 2015. A must-see for anyone interested in exploring the history of aviation from an authentic and lively angle.

Not to be missed: an escapade at the heart of aeronautics, where passion and history meet!
