EDF is celebrating its 80th anniversary at the Espaces EDF Bazacle with an exhibition tracing the history of electricity in France and its impact on the daily lives of the French people since 1946.
Take a journey through eight decades of history, from the founding of EDF in 1946 to the present day. Through iconic everyday objects, the exhibition shows how electricity has transformed the lifestyles of the French people.
The exhibition also highlights EDF’s major industrial achievements (hydroelectric power stations, generation infrastructure, nuclear sites) as well as the men and women who have played a part in this industrial and technological adventure.
The Watt Box, an immersive virtual reality experience, allows visitors to discover the principles of electricity through five interactive challenges. Suitable for ages 12 and over, by booking only.
