FESTIVAL BD DE COLOMIERS
About
On the programme: brand-new exhibitions, comic-themed concerts, meetings with publishers and authors, workshops, screenings and festive events: this anniversary edition pays tribute to the richness of independent comics and their most inventive forms.
Among the unmissable events:
- On Sunday 22 November, from 11 am to 5 pm, the festival will transform the city into a giant playground centred around football and comics. On the programme: an interactive trail, sporting challenges, table football and collectable cards to help you progress to the grand final. A participatory adventure for the whole family, whether you’re a fan of comics or football.
- The ‘Double Trouble’ exhibition, featuring Michael DeForge and Camille Potte, brings together two inventive visual worlds, exploring metamorphoses, fragmented forms and offbeat imaginations. A joint talk with the two artists is also scheduled for Sunday 22 November at 11.00 am.
- On Saturday 21 November at 5 pm, the festival is hosting a talk with Chris Ware, a leading figure in American comics. A unique opportunity to gain an insight into his work and artistic approach.
The festival venues are as follows: Hall Comminges, the white Henri-Molina pavilion, the Espace Lucien-Blazy, Square Saint-Exupéry, the Véo Grand Central cinema, the Maison des transitions écologiques, Rue du Centre, La Préface bookshop and Chapikioske.
