A regional musical tradition, both resurgent and exploratory, is reborn here through the incorporation of contemporary playing techniques on historical instruments.

This exploration of sound, situated at the crossroads of ethnomusicology and experimental music, could be described as musical impressionism.

Some will hear old folk recordings in it, whilst others will perceive repetitive music, minimalism or even spectralism, leaving the interpretation open to interpretation.
