About
Medusa, a mythical and cabaret-like creature, is enraged – with hissing snakes on her head, glittering fangs on her body, and a petrifying gaze.
From deep within her cave, she untangles her teeming hair, loosens the knots and calls for Justice – Athena, are you there?
This story is also one of love; self-love, love for others – love to be transformed, to be rediscovered.
When words fail her, she sings with her Gorgon sisters – songs from her teenage bedroom or her remote cave.
Before our very eyes, Medusa and her sisters name everything – romantic dreams, rapes, battles, metamorphoses – and invent new paths to healing.
Warning: This play deals with sexual violence.
