Loosely based on Miyazaki’s *Howl’s Moving Castle*, this curious house, which seems to come to life all of its own accord, is home to Fourmi and her bird friends who travel with her.

Some hens (real ones), each with their own personality, take to the stage.

Fourmi, a clown, is there to accompany them and make sure everything goes smoothly so that they can meet the audience and deliver their message.

They have something essential to share; Fourmi is convinced of this.

She doesn’t know how it will manifest itself, nor does she know when.

But one thing is certain: it will happen at any moment.

Fourmi is in a sensitive and constant connection with them.

The attention required by living creatures in public is a real balancing act…

She naturally finds opportunities to speak, telling us her story and sharing moments of daily life and play with the hens.

She engages in dialogue with them and gives them a voice, to question our world, whilst also questioning theirs and the way we view them.

Through the voices of the hens, an intriguing, little-known soundscape unfolds, allowing us to discover their peculiarities and their ancestral origins…

A world away from conventional training, by adapting to their rhythms and desires, the clown gives these farmyard animals—so often looked down upon—a place of their own.

The poetic unpredictability of the hens is astonishing.

‘Life’ flourishes on stage, with all its clumsiness, imperfections and unknowns, which evoke laughter and the wonder of childhood.

Alongside them, Fourmi acts as a spokesperson, bridging the gap between the human world and the animal world, between the stage and the audience.

Through her sensitivity, she bears witness to this bond of affection, to their respective paths that intersect and resonate with the world today.

It is a way of looking at all these little creatures—who move us, surprise us and make us question ourselves (and to whom we do not necessarily pay attention)—with a sense of equality, free from prejudice.
