Tender and funny, Thomas Fersen takes us on a witty and fantastical journey, adapted from his book. Samuel Achache’s direction transforms this coming-of-age story into a playful musical theatre production. The songs – some brand new, others drawn from the artist’s repertoire – do the rest. Here we rediscover what makes Fersen such a unique figure in French chanson and why we hold him so dear: humour, octosyllabic verse, melancholy and the ukulele.
