About
In La Marsa, Tunisia, Florent Marchet composes songs bathed in light, inspired by a new rhythm of life.
Though it explores contemporary themes such as social decline, masculinity, the fragility of adolescence and the passage of time, the album avoids disillusionment. A sense of warmth endures, along with a desire for movement, laughter and love in an unstable world. More a storyteller than a singer, Florent Marchet does not tell his own story but that of others, and with *Mobil Home* he affirms a nomadic artistic freedom.
This album builds on a career shaped by change and experimentation, marked by collaborations and a variety of formats alongside, amongst others, Philippe Katerine, Jane Birkin, Calogero and Bernard Lavilliers.
