TENTATIVE DE RÉUNIFICATION CORÉENNE PAR L’AMOUR, LA CARESSE… ET L’ARGENT !

Far removed from the grand burlesque epic of *Le Suicidé*, we have opted for a fragmented dramatic structure, drawing inspiration from a number of brilliant contemporary writers.

In a hazy atmosphere steeped in chiaroscuro, figures emerging from the shadows come into contact with one another in a series of ‘short cuts’, where the multitude of our abysses comes to the surface: how do we meet, how do we desire one another, how do we love one another, how do we get along, how do we miss each other, how do we tear each other apart, how do we cling on, make each other pay, destroy each other, bite each other, forget each other, remember each other, recognise each other, fulfil ourselves, …, …, … and …

We laugh at times, are no doubt moved by this small-scale game of carnage, and are horrified by those tipping-point moments when people lose their bearings.

Fortunately, it’s all make-believe. Or rather, it’s real but it looks fake… or the other way round… we’re in the theatre, after all!

We’ve put some rock music between each scene because… well, because that’s just how it is!”
