About
A native of Quebec, Jean-François Lapointe has, for over forty years, established himself on the world’s leading opera stages as one of the leading figures in the French repertoire – from Debussy’s *Pelléas* to Thomas’s *Hamlet* – whilst also performing works by Verdi, Rossini and Mozart.
This season, he will also be heard in the role of Merlin in Chausson’s *King Arthur*; before that, he will be at the Capitole for a *Midi* concert alongside pianist Franck Villard, bringing to the intimate setting the elegance for which he is renowned.
