Whilst his famous *Et resurrexit* is perfectly timed for the Easter period, this programme also marks two firsts in the history of the Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse: the inclusion of this major work in the orchestra’s repertoire and Leonardo García-Alarcón’s first guest appearance. The Argentine conductor, who is also a harpsichordist, is one of the leading figures in Baroque music. In addition to an impeccable vocal line-up, Leonardo García-Alarcón brings with him the Namur Chamber Choir, of which he has been the conductor and artistic director since 2010 and with which he has released an extensive discography.
