He is also a superstar of the classical repertoire thanks to the numerous concertos, brimming with breathtaking virtuosity, that have been written for him… In this *Happy Hour* programme, the violin will showcase both its electrifying sound as a solo instrument and its ensemble qualities, whether caressing or full of energy. Three musicians from the Orchestre du Capitole – the superstar soloist Kristi Gjezi and the two soloists Chiu-Jan Ying and Quentin Vogel – will also demonstrate the violin’s leadership qualities by conducting the orchestra whilst playing their instruments.
